Machine Support Parts Maintenance
It is important to maintain the support parts of the cold chamber die casting machine because it help to prolong the life span. There are two aspects as following.
The first, Lubricate the support parts.
The second, Fix the support parts within regular period to avoid looseness.
Let’s talk about the first aspect firstly. The information of the lubrication.
1. Die Locking Lubrication
30# machinery oils and 68# slide-way oil are commonly used for lubricating die lock. Operator must check several aspects.
1) Oildispenser of the lubricating system is in good condition or not.
2) All oil delivery tubes are clear and fix or not.
3) Lubricate oil level and the lubricate pressure.
If operators run the machine after a long time stop, please lubricate the machine by hands several times. The auto lubricate time is set by the computer program. It lubricate the machine once when the machine is running.
The time between two lubrication and the time of lubrication are all set by the program. Operators can set on the contact screen on the electronic cabinet by themselves. The set pressure of the lubrication pump is 15bar.
Please check the lubricate system during the production to ensure the lubricating effectiveness. If you find the lubricating pump is damaged or the lubricating tubes are falling down, please repair them at once.
And the machine cannot be running without lubrication.
2. Middle Plate and End Plate Lubrication
Grease and lubricating oil are used for middle plate and end plate lubrication. We suggest you choose lithium base grease or sulfurized grease if you decide to choose grease to lubricate them.
Please make sure add the grease every month to prolong the lifespan and movement precision. When you choose lubricating oil, the machine will do it automatically.
3. Mould Adjustment Part Lubrication
We choose grease to lubricate the mould adjustment part and add grease every three month. Clean the mould adjustment nut, surface of lead screw, cover, and contact surface between nuts head faces.
And then spread surfaces of nut, cover, chain wheel. If there is grease inlet on the machine, you can choose grease gun.
Please make sure add grease into the gearbox every half a year. The mould adjustment part in good condition can decrease the output moment of force of the mould adjustment motor to ensure the stable mould adjustment movement to avoid malfunction.
4. Employed Foot and Steel Lubrication
Grease and lubricating oil are used for lubricating employed foot. Please make sure add grease every one month. Before adding grease, please disassemble the middle employed foot and clean it by diesel. Besides, clean the dust and wasted alloy on the steel.
And install the middle employed foot, add proper grease in the oil tank by grease gun. At the same time, you can coat a grease film on the steel.
It is automatic lubricate when you choose lubricating oil.
